I think I enjoyed this book more than usual because of the fact I got to pick it. I think Esme has a very assertive teaching style just like she had said she had. I enjoy the way she teaches her classroom because she's a great teacher until you push her buttons. I like that fact that she's different than the rest of the teachers as well. The format of the book catches my eye two due to the fact it's not in chapters yet in a diary/journal format, it makes you feel as if you're actually there. I think the way she handles the lost book was very mature and I do feel as if the person who took it was that student who's mother came in asking for the books to be put back on the shelve.
